Higan is a Buddhist holiday celebrated in Japan for both the Spring and Autumn Equinoxes.
I also used DeepL for the caption of the second tweet (Here’s a sweet for you.) since I haven’t seen the phrase 差し入れの甘味です (sashi-ire no kanmi desu). I’m assuming sashi-ire here is “refreshments” (Jisho).
