Translations

Rurutea illustrated a series of scenes of Koupen-chan exploring Kita-Kamakura, or North Kamakura.

C: In North Kamakura

TN: This appears to take place right outside of Kita-Kamakura station given that it is the start of the thread and the dark reddish, brown color and shape of the building. See below for a map and a link to Google Maps for the photos I used as a reference.

C: Koupen-chan exploring North Kamakura

TN: This looks like it is at the Buddhist temple Engaku-ji. See below for a reference photo and a map of the location.

Koupen-chan: They’re holding some pretty hydrangeas~

TN: It looks like this statue holding a bowl of hydrangea blossoms can be found in the temple Meigetsu-in, linked below.

It's a western-style building seemingly plucked right out of a picture book, and when I enter, my heart feels at ease."

TN: See below for a map of the bridge’s location, which is near Enoshima. After checking the location of this bridge relative to Kita-Kamakura, I realize this post actually does not belong in this compilation but… I will leave it here until I make one for the Enoshima trip, I suppose. lol. My bad!
